A fond farewell to Fleur!

We’re wishing a fond farewell to a long-standing team member – shop and business development manager Florence “Fleur” Bayonne, who is moving on to new adventures after almost exactly ten years with Friends!

Fleur is a familiar and friendly face for everyone who regularly visits the Friends shop on the ground floor at Moorfields City Road. Over the last ten years she has brought countless positive changes to the shop, bringing in new products and display ideas, as well as continuing to run a covid-safe shop service during lockdown, providing an invaluable resource for staff and patients during this time. Her seasonal shop window displays are loved by staff and patients alike!

Fleur also supports a team of volunteers based in the shop, providing training and helping many volunteers to develop valuable skills and confidence.

Away from the shop, Fleur has organised and supported many successful fundraising events at City Road and beyond, including bake sales, coffee mornings, art and jewellery sales, tube station collections and plenty more.
