The Health Information Hub
The Health Information Hub is a dedicated area in the main entrance of Moorfields Eye Hospital on City Road. The Friends of Moorfields manage the Hub and employ a full-time Health Hub Manager as well as a part-time Health Hub Support Officer, both of whom are also qualified Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLOs). This means that we are able to provide accessible, non-medical, Moorfields-approved information, signposting and support for patients and carers.

The Health Information Hub team talk to patients in order to offer information about their eye conditions and facilitate access to other appropriate services.
The Health Information Hub team are assisted by a group of volunteers who:
- Meet and greet patients/family/carers and help them to access the relevant information.
- Help keep the Hub up to date by making sure leaflets and information are current and readily available.
