A former Chief Executive, Non-Executive Director and local politician with a wide knowledge of business and local government, Tim has a particular interest in developing organisations and supporting them to achieve their strategic objectives. He has an interest in wider aspects of Public Health, including health inequalities, their causes and how they might be addressed.

Louise studied English and Italian at the University of Manchester, Law at the University of Exeter and post graduate diplomas in French and Economics at the Open University.  She qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and is the global head of legal for the securities services business line of BNP Paribas SA.

Chief Operating Officer with a track record of successfully leading clinical and corporate services within the NHS, Jon has worked closely with hospital charities throughout his NHS leadership career and as an executive of Moorfields Eye Hospital. He is keen to act as a key liaison between the Friends of Moorfields and the hospital to ensure that their strategic aims continue to be aligned.

Richard Eveleigh studied Law with French at the Universities of Birmingham and Limoges and qualified as a lawyer in 1985. In private practice until 2001 he specialised in insolvency, banking and insurance. From 2001 to 2024 he worked as a lawyer and leader of insurance product creation in two insurance companies, first Chubb and then AIG. Richard is Immediate Past Chair of the British Insurance Law Association.

A senior marketeer and former head of medical devices for over ten years, Melanie transitioned to the charity sector in 2017. As Director of Business Development for the Trussell Trust’s Hackney Foodbank, she led their strategic development, fundraising and communications. Melanie currently heads the fundraising and marketing team for a poverty-tackling charity in Tower Hamlets. She has a particular interest in the drivers of poverty and health inequalities.

Olivia is an investment Director on the charity team at Rathbones, where she joined from Investec Asset Management. She graduated from Exeter University with a BSc Hons in Economics and Politics, and currently sits on the Charity Stock Selection Committee at Rathbones, as well as the Stewardship Committee. Olivia specialises in the management of charity and livery company investment portfolios.

A former pharmaceutical executive with senior commercial leadership experience, Neil has a passion for fostering growth mindsets within individuals and organizations. Neil is motivated by the opportunity to support the vital work of the Friends of Moorfields.

Carl joins us as a trustee having been a patient at Moorfields for over 20 years and a volunteer since 2022, first as a handholder and now at the Health Information Hub. He brings a wealth of experience from his career as a Human Resources Director, and sits on our Governance, HR and Risk Committee. He also volunteers as an adult literacy coach, supports young people into work, and enjoys, football, golf, tennis and walking his dog.
