Angela celebrates 10-year anniversary

Over those ten years, we’ve seen incredible changes, from new initiatives like Volunteer to Career and our award-nominated handholding service, to the growth of our volunteer programme and our staff team, allowing us to support more patients than ever before.

During the last ten years we’ve played a vital part in supporting Moorfields during lockdown, we’ve celebrated our 60th anniversary, and we’ve held our first ever conference, exploring the future of eye care. We’ve given grants for initiatives like Christmas gifts for young patients, improvements to the ocular oncology counselling room, and an AI tool that helps predict the risk of keratoconus.

“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already!” Angela said. “Time flies by… It has been an honour and a privilege to lead an amazing team who are all passionate about supporting Moorfields. I am very proud of what we have achieved.”
