Moorfields A&E rated best in the country by patients

The fantastic team at A&E are supported by volunteers from Friends of Moorfields.
This month it was announced that the A&E at Moorfields Eye Hospital has been rated higher by patients than every other A&E in the country in the 2024 CQC Urgent and emergency care survey. At Friends of Moorfields, we’re very proud to provide 78 hours of volunteer support a week to the A&E team – our volunteers meet and greet patients, assist with filling in intake forms, and provide emotional support to patients who are waiting to be seen.
