Special delivery

“We would like to say a big thanks to Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Kingsbury for their generous donation of hot and cold food, cereal bars, snacks, fruit and drinks to Moorfields staff in May. Their donations from the local community and local businesses was greatly appreciated by our staff who were working through difficult and challenging times throughout the Covid 19 crisis.

Nimita Park, our finance and operations manager, was approached by her local temple who have been successful in their delivery of goods to various care homes, St Lukes Hospice and NHS trusts such as Guys, St Thomas, Northwick Park and many more. They were keen to deliver to as many hospitals as they possibly could to show the appreciation from all communities towards NHS staff and care providers.

The large delivery of food and drinks was gratefully received and kindly distributed throughout the hospital by Tina Nemeth, The Friends Team and various members of staff from the trust”.
