Welcome Robert

A warm welcome to the newest member of the Friends staff team Robert Kwami. Robert joined us in March 2020 as a Volunteer Support Officer.

Robert started with Friends as a volunteer, supporting Sabina in the Health Hub and helping patients with directions and wayfinding. He enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to use his skills in a hospital setting. This lead him to acquire a qualification with Kent Association of the blind. Robert went on to work for Project Search, a one on one mentoring post helping visually impaired individuals.  

Outside of work Robert spends time reading about different countries and their cultures. He loves art and enjoys nature.
